Meritorious students in Katigorah felicitated

Silchar, June 9: Three meritorious students, Biyak th, Tapu Kumar Das and Sunny Roy, were felicitated by Katigorah Development Committee on Wednesday. Students of Siddheswar Higher Secondary School of Katigorah did well in their last HSLC examition. The school located on the bank of river Barak in Katigorah is known for academic discipline and also healthy student-teacher relations. The results of HSLC and HS examitions every year bring pride to the people of this block on Indo-Bangladesh border, 30 km from here.

While Biyak th secured 4 letters with star marks, Sunny Roy and Tapu Kumar Das both got 3 letters and star marks. They were felicitated with flower bouquet and other gifts. Handing over the gifts, bendu Shekhar th, president of the Katigorah Development Committee, wished them all the best in their further studies and better placements in life. He encouraged them to study more studiously in order to better than what they did in their HSLC examition.

Students in reply to the felicitation said they would work hard to respond to the expectations and do still better in future. The felicitation programme was held in the premises of the development committee. Others present at the felicitation ceremony included Shakti th, teacher, and the members of the development committee.
