Minister Assures Help for Development of Medical Sector in Dima Hasao

Haflong: Pijush Hazarika, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, assured all possible help for the development of the medical sector in Dima Hasao. Hazarika was here in Dima Hasao on a two-day visit. He inaugurated the mini PHC at Hatikhali and also inaugurated the new 50-bedded Model Hospital at Langting in presence of Chief Executive Member Debolal Gorlosa and Executive Member Samuel Changsan on Thursday.

The minister also interacted with the medical staff of Langting to take stock of the medical facilities in the area. He also appealed to the medical staff to be more sincere while providing services to poor villagers.

In this connection, a well-attended organization meeting was also held at Langting High School playground wherein Hazarika and CEM Gorlosa addressed a huge gathering. They appealed to the karyakartas to reach out to the masses with the message of BJP’s all-round development and the vision ‘Sabka saath sabka vikash’. Tomorrow, Pijush Hazarika will inaugurate the 100-bedded extension building of Haflong Civil Hospital and will lay the foundation stone of ICU building, Geriatic ward and burns unit at Haflong Civil Hospital complex.
