Minor girl dies after consuming ready-to-eat noodles

Haflong, April 9: In a tragic incident, a Class V student of St Agnes Convent School med Kirtika Langthasa, daughter of Risendra Langthasa of Dibarai, died after allegedly consuming ready-to-eat noodles on Friday. According to her mother, the child after eating ready-to-eat noodles on Thursday, began to vomit repeatedly following which she fell sick and could not go to school. She was taken to Haflong Civil Hospital but the doctors could not diagnose any ailment. On Friday night she repeatedly vomited and collapsed on the bed. This is not the first case of death after consuming ready-to-eat noodles in Dima Hsaso. Such an incident was also reported on November 20, 2016  at Laisong.
