Miscreants attack xatriya bhakat

Joysagar, May 21: Miscreants attacked several local villagers with sharp weapons in the Demowmukh Sesa Xatra area under Desangmukh Police Station of Sivasagar on the night of May 19. The miscreants also allegedly attacked a xatriya bhakat of the same xatra, Anil Bhuyan who came out to see what was going on. When his daughter Anima Bhuyan rushed to save her father, the miscreants allegedly attacked her too and she received injuries on her hand and arms. Local villagers immediately shifted them to Joysagar Hospital and informed Desangmukh Police. But before the arrival of the police, the miscreants were able to flee.
