Missing youth's body recovered in Dihing River

DULIAJAN, February 10: Sensation prevailed in Duliajan after recovery of the body of a missing youth from Dihing River on Tuesday evening. The deceased has been identified as Jayanta Kumar Gogoi (45), son of Suneswar Gogoi, residing near Kamalabari amghar under Duliajan police station. According to sources, he was missing with his motor cycle since January 31. Family members had lodged an FIR. According to police sources, police found his motor cycle on January 31 from the Buridihing bridge but they could not trace Jayanta. Police on Wednesday sent his body for post mortem to Assam Medical College and Hospital.
