Mission Pratiraksha launched in Lower Subansiri district

ZIRO,: Along with the rest of the State, Mission Pratiraksha was launched in Lower Subansiri District by Deputy Commissioner-cum-Chairman, District Health Society, Chukhu Takar In his office chamber on Monday.

While attesting his signature on the Mission Pratiraksha notes, he wished the entire team 100 percent immunization coverage.

DMO Dr. Tage Kano informed that the Government of Arunachal Pradesh has converged Mission Indradhanush, Incentivisation for full immunization and routine immunization into Mission Pratiksha.

He further informed that various awards for the best performing districts in terms of leadership, immunization coverage, increase in immunization percentage and the best team will be awarded this time.

DRCHO Dr Derin Likar presented a PowerPoint on the Mission Pratiraksha. During the presentation, he informed that focus will be on pockets with unvaccinated and under vaccinated areas. Headcount will be done in identified poor coverage area and sessions will be planned based on the number of target beneficiaries he informed.

He also presented the micro plan for the district. The programme was attended by ADC Gombu Tsering, DDSE Hibu Tama, and DD, ICDS Chandan Thangjam, besides the doctors, paramedical staffs and representative from AIR.

The Mission Pratiraksha was also launched in Kamle by DC in-charge EAC Mobia Tai at CHC, Raga in the presence of DRCHO Dr. Kapu Sopin, ASHAs, Anganwadi workers and other medical staffs.

The mission was also simultaneously launched in all the PHCs across Kamle by the respective MO in-charges.
