Mizoram Elections: Congress declares Full List

Aizawl: The Congress today declared the names of all of its contestants for the November 28 Assembly elections in Mizoram, where Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla will contest from two voting public.

The Central Election Committee (CEC) of the Congress chose the competitors and the gathering's general secretary accountable for the CEC, Mukul Wasnik, made the declaration.

Mr. Thanhawla will contest from the Champhai South (ST) and Serchhip (ST) seats - both held for the Scheduled Tribe (ST) class.

Mizoram is the only north-eastern state and among the few states in the nation as of now under the Congress rule. BJP is trying to expel the Congress from the northeastern state.

The selection recording procedure will begin on November 2 in the north-eastern state and the last date for documenting papers is November 9.

The 40-member Mizoram Assembly will go to the surveys on November 28 and the outcomes will be declared on December 11.
