Mizoram thrash Tripura 14-0 at National Sub Junior Soccer (NE Zone)

GUWAHATI: Assam will start their National Sub Junior Soccer (NE Zone) campaign at Kolasib in Mizoram tomorrow. The side will face Arunachal Pradesh in their opening tie. The other team in the group is Manipur. Assam will play against them on August 25.

Altogether six teams are participating in the competition and they are divided into two groups. The teams in the other group are host Mizoram, Tripura, and Meghalaya.

Meanwhile Mizoram today thrashed Tripura in the opening game of the tournament. Host won the tie by a huge margin of 14-0.
