MLA inaugurates Silchar ASDT Centre

Silchar, May 26: Assam Skill Development Training Centre in collaboration with Aastha Foundation, Silchar, was inaugurated by MLA Dilip Kumar Paul in the presence of founder of Aastha Foundation Arnab Chakraborty, Ramendra Chakraborty, Niren Paul and official representative of ASDM Pinak Choudhury, District Project Manager, Cachar, in Silchar recently. These training programmes include front office associate, retail sales associate and housekeeping attendant under tourism and hospitality sector and retail sector will be imparted at the centre which will be followed by placements opportunities for the youths at leading private companies of related sectors. Dilip Kumar Paul lauded the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to start the mass movement of Skill India which have already benefited huge number of youths all across the nation.

The MLA also put emphasis on the fact that only after BJP Government came in Assam; a new ministry of skill development has been set up under the able leadership of Sarbananda Sonowal, the Chief Minister of Assam. It has will benefit the youths of Assam at large to a greater extent. The MLA also encouraged the youths to stay focused and make every effort to make the training program successful.
