MLA Likha Saaya Opens Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana Road

YAZALI: MLA Likha Saaya inaugurated the 12 km rural road, connecting the entry point Tanyo to lej puchu under Yazali Circle constructed under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) amidst mammoth gathering here on Friday.

For immediate completion, Saaya directed accompanying Executive Engineer, Yachuli to start carpeting of the said road as soon as possible. He also promised to construct the Yachuli to Dollungmukh road if he wins the forthcoming election 2019 and would do better than he had done before if people elect him again. Reiterating equal development of all, Saaya informed that proposal for various schemes have been already submitted to state government for all round development of his constituency.

He promised that the all the approved work would be awarded to locals on turn basis to ensure equal growth of people and the area. Further responding to a 5 point memorandum which include establishment of a govt. primary school and community health sub centre at Pami, Football Playground cum general ground at Lej Village and creation of Wild life forest range at People, Saaya assured to fulfill all the demands within stipulated time.

In regards to demands for construction of football field, Saaya handed over a sum of ten lakh rupees for construction purpose on the spot and assured to add more if required. Since last two months, Saaya has been extensively touring the remote villages under his constituency to get first hand information of development scenario.

Allaying fears that BJP is against Christians, he also rubbished the apprehensions about forceful spread of Hindutva by BJP into the Christian-majority state. He clarified that that BJP is not a religious party and does not believe in the politics of religion as it follows the concept of equal respect to all religions. Vistarak chief, Dohu Apa empasised on the participation of the all section of people in developing the area. The programme concluded with the chanting of Bharat Mata ki Jai’ and ‘Vande Mataram’, followed by community feast.
