MLA Sum Ronghang visits half-done construction work sites in Diphu

HOWRAGHAT, July 3: Diphu constituency MLA Sum Ronghang visited several locations under his home constituency here on Friday to monitor the half-done construction works. Visiting several half-done constructions sites, the MLA expressed serious concerned over the poor performance. He took special note of the bridge built over the Jamu River which has been lying half done since many years. While interacting with the local people of Samaguri, Rajapathar and Dasgaon areas, Ronghang tried to understand their various grievances. He also assured to resolve their problems. He said that infrastructure development works, especially renovation work of deplorable roads, would be intensified from the next three months in the hill district. The RCC bridge build over the Jamu River has been lying half done for last 13 years. Though 50 per cent fund for the construction of RCC bridge was released by the government, but the construction work is still progressing at a sil’s pace since the last 13 years. The MLA has already instructed the contractor and the officers of the department concerned to complete the bridge immediately. On the other hand, the people of Langphar MAC constituency under Diphu LA warmly welcomed newly-elected MLA Sum Ronghang.
