MLA Thangwang Wangham inaugurates 2nd phase of free eye camp

LONGDING: MLA of 59 Longding District Thangwang Wangham, inaugurated the second phase of Free Eye Screening Camp was conducted at Government Higher Secondary School of Longding District program amidst huge gathering of HODs, public and students here on Wednesday. Claiming the program conducted by WSU as a noble act in the larger interest of young students and society, T.Wangham said that generally one repent about his/her health only after it is lost, specially our eye-sight and today's camp has been organized to check the eye sight before it is lost and damaged.

"This is one of the most important subject that the WSU has taken up and as the program has coincide with the Children's Day it is a very important and auspicious occasion for all of us", Wangham added.

The program was the sequence to the Screening Camp conducted at Kanubari on 13th of November, 2018 by Wancho Students' Union in collaboration with Ramakrishna Mission Hospital, Itanagar.
