Mob justice takes way in Manipur

IMPHAL, AUG 10: Questioning the motive behind the assault on four Muslim youths alleging them to be bike lifters, Muslim groups in Thoubal district retaliated on Monday by intercepting a person from a different community and bashed him black and blue apart from setting ablaze the scooter he was travelling in. It may be mentioned that the bikes of the Muslim youths were also set ablaze by the mob the other day.  Meanwhile Muslim organizations have dared the police to make an in-depth enquiry into the matter and said that if the charges leveled against the four youths are proved wrong, they should be released with full dignity. They also urged the police to book the culprits.
