Mob stages blockade

DEMOW, July 28: A Road accident took place near Demow in Rajmai Chariali at NH-37 on Thursday night at around 7:45 pm when a Traveller Car (AS 06 BC 0681) which was coming from Demow and heading towards Sivasagar, hit a Businessman of Rajmai med Radhye Shyam Agrawalla (56), while he was standing near NH-37. He was seriously injured. The person was taken to Demow Model Hospital but he succumbed to his injuries on the way. After the incident, the angry mob of Rajmai blocked the NH-37. The police lathi-charged on the angry mob. However the Traveller Car fled from the incident area. The local people have demanded the administration to make rules and regulation related to vehicles.
