Mobile Medical Units launched

Haflong, Nov 8: Two Mobile Medical Units were formally launched by the Executive Member ST Jame Hrangkhol at the Haflong Civil Hospital on Wednesday. The Mobile Medical Units will be in service at two places - one at Haflong Civil Hospital and the other at Maibang Rural Hospital. The iugural function was organized by District Health Society, Haflong, Dima Hasao. The chief guest, ST James Hrangkhol in his speech expressed hope of providing medical facility to those deprived in various rural areas. He lauded the efforts of the Health Society and advised the medical department to utilize the Mobile Medical Unit in a better and planned manner as per instruction of the government.
