Modi government slammed for 'not fulfilling' promises

MARGHERITA, August 17: Assam Bihari garik Bikash Manch, Margherita president Dr Om Prakash Sahu alleged that Prime Minister rendra Modi made commul speeches while addressing the public few days ago.

Dr Sahu alleged that recently in Bihar, Modi addressed a public meeting where he made controversial comments against the people of Bihar. He also said that last year the BJP had mentioned the people of the Northeast as immigrants in their election manifesto. Dr Sahu said that the Modi government had failed to fulfil the promises made to the people of the country. This government was only a puppet in the hands of powerful corporate houses.

Dr Sahu said that prices of essential commodities were increasing and the unemployment problem too had not been solved. The ‘acche din’ promised by the BJP before the Lok Sabha polls had not come, he said and added that Prime Minister Modi was only ruling the country with the help of big talks and no development had taken place in the country in the one year of the Modi government.

Dr Sahu urged the people of Assam to vote for the Asom Ga Parishad (AGP) in the 2016 Assembly polls for the greater interest of the State.
