Mohammedan, Hindustan start with win

GUWAHATI, April 21: Mohammedan Sporting and Hindustan FC made winning start in the second leg of the 2nd Division I League which got under way in three venues in Upper Assam today. Mohammedan Sporting defeated L S Kashmir by 2-1. Sandeep Sinha and Daniel Badami scored for the winning team while Ajoy Singh reduced one for LS Kashmir. Hindustan FC, who faced PIFA at Dergaon, won the game by a solitary goal. There was altogether four matches on the first day of the meet. Aizwal FC in another game shared points with United SC at Golaghat.The match ended in a goalles draw.

However the match between Kenkre SC and Chanmari FC, held at Bokakhat, were abandoned after the 77th minutes due to heavy rain. Both the team scored one goal each when referee stop the game .The remaining part of the match will be held tomorrow.
