Mohilary slammed for making 'baseless allegations' against PCDR

From our Correspondent

BONGAIGAON, March 23: “Hagrama Mohilary had realized that BPF will not be able to win this time in BTC election and hence he has started panicking. This explains why he is making baseless allegations against PCDR,” said Rwngwra rzary, chief coorditor of People’s Co-ordition for Democratic Right (PCDR) on Monday.

He said that Mohilary alleged in a public meeting that PCDR had threatened non-Bodo people to cast their votes in favour of PCDR.  “Mohilary, in a mass meeting claimed that we, PCDR threatened non-Bodo people of BTAD to cast their votes in our favour. He also claimed that we have announced that if any non-Bodo people do not cast votes in favour of PCDR, then we will compel those people to get out of BTAD. But this is a baseless allegation. PCDR is a democratic party and no member of PCDR will say such things. We challenge Mohilary that if he has proof against us, he should take legal help and not go about saying things here and there,” said rzary. He expressed confidence that PCDR would win most seats in the upcoming BTC polls and form the government.
