More than 300 supporters join BJP in North Lakhimpur

Lakhimpur, August 17: Almost 300 members joined the BJP in the District Library of North Lakhimpur on Wednesday.

More than 800 people from in and around the district were present in the joining programme.  MLA ba Kumar Doley, Gajendra Singh, Phani Sarmah, organizing secretary of the BJP were present in the programme. The saffron party claimed of all round development and for this sole reason these supporters who were willing to work for the district’s development, had joined the party to bring out better results in future.

“We welcome these new members to our party and we really appreciate that these people have joined us for our cause to develop the district and make North Lakhimpur  better then before. I appreciate that the youth leader Jagadesh Dutta, Digant Chutia, Indrajit Saikia, Munindra Dowarah, Indeswar Sut, Binoy Boruah, Madhurjya Gogoi, Biswajit Gohain, Pradeep Bhuyan,Prasanta Das, Milan Debth, Samiran Konwar and others have joined our party today. Our prior aim is to develop the State and all the districts,” said MLA ba Kumar Doley.

“We are determined to bring a massive change so that our future generations can see a developed Assam. For bringing such a development we require the support of the people and we are sure that the people of Assam support us. Under the leadership of Prime Minister rendra Modi and Chief Minister Sarbanda Sonowal, we will continue to serve Assam with utmost dedication. We have planned many developmental schemes for the State and with youths supporting us, we will fulfil all our aims and make every scheme successful,” he added.

“I am very thankful that the BJP has allowed me to join the party and be a part of their cause, which is to develop India and unite all Indians irrespective of caste, creed and religion. My main vision is to see a strong, affluent and united Assam by being a true tiolist. I will fight for the cause of social and economic development of the common people by educating and sensitizing them on their rights and to strive for equal opportunity to all,” said newly-joined member Jagadish Dutta.
