More than 50 teachers occupying dual posts

Lakhimpur, August 23: Due to lack of vacant posts, there are numerous TET passed candidates wandering without jobs and protesting for placements against the Education Department whereas more than 50 employees of the same department are holding dual government posts. The State Government had appointed 107 school SIs during the month of July, among which more than 50 are teachers from the high schools. These employees have been working in the post of SI without resigning from the former post of teacher. Following the incident, a group of the deprived teachers accused the Education Minister for saying that numerous qualified candidates had been deprived of jobs due to lack of vacant posts.
