Mosquito nets distributed

HAMREN, September 11: A meeting of Bharatiya Jata Party (BJP) was held at Turet Tisso LP school playground,  Kolonga. Chairman of local level committee, Mongal Sing Timung iugurated ceremonial distribution of mosquito nets among the Hamren MAC constituency villagers on Saturday, sources said.

The local BJP workers helped in distribution of mosquito nets. “Around 5,000 beneficiaries will be getting mosquito nets under the project of which 3,500 mosquito nets have been distributed,” said Timung.

The local leader urged all the party workers to work unitedly for development of the society.

The programme was attended by Chandra Sing Rongphar, secretary West Karbi Anglong district committee,  Dillip Hanse, chairman of Chingthong Mondal Committee and Mongalsing Timumg, EM KAAC.
