Mother kills eight-month-old child

DEMOW, April 3: Sensation prevailed here after an eight-month-old child was allegedly killed by his own mother Ji Majhi of Demow Palengi Kachari Pathar gaon in Sivasagar yesterday. Raju Majhi, the father of the child alleged that Ji had killed her own son. “Even though Ji told me that our son died due to cough problems but it’s not true. She has murdered her in my absence,” Majhi said. Meanwhile, police have sent the body of the child for postmortem.   Demow Police have started investigation into the case.
