Motorcycle burnt in fight between two groups

GOLAGHAT (Dhekial), Jan 2:  While welcoming the new year, in Furkating area a fight broke out between two groups, as a result of which a motorcycle was completely burnt on Sunday night.

According to report, the motorcycle bearing registration number AS 05F5537, owned by Iftika Ahmed, was burnt while Dadul Baruah and Ujjal Rajkhowa were beaten with bamboo sticks by another group.  They alleged that another group led by businessman Mridul Gogoi attacked them without any reason. Later, the injured persons Dadul Baruah and Ujjal Rajkhowa, and bike owner Iftika Ahmed lodged an FIR against businessman Mridul Gogoi and his group members.
