MP Tasa slams Congress government

GOLAGHAT (Dhekial), June 14:  MP Kamakhya Prasad Tasa slammed the previous Congress government and said that Tarun Gogoi was not an able Chief Minister, while attending the Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas  programme as chief guest in Golaghat on Wednesday. He said that the BJP government focused on overall development and strengthening the society in Assam. In the programme, Khumtai MLA Mril Saikia also took part as special guest. The Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas programme was held with the cooperation with Golaghat district administration and Numaligarh Refinery Limited  on the occasion of completion of three years of  the Central Government with a view to highlight the various flagship schemes and initiatives implemented by the government.

A section of people of Golaghat district expressed their reaction at organizing the programme by wasting lakhs of rupees in the me of celebration of three years completion of the Central Government. They alleged that the Golaghat district administration and NRL had unnecessarily wasted public money in the me of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas. They alleged that people of Golaghat needed pure drinking water, sufficient medicines in government hospitals and proper roads. Instead of providing proper facilities to the people, the district administration and NRL organized the Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas programme by wasting a large amount of money.
