Mr Saraighat competition tomorrow

GUWAHATI, April 27: The 27th Mr Saraighat RG Baruah Memorial All India Classic Body Building championship will be held at ITA Centre, Machkhowa in the city on Friday. The event will be organized by the Saraighat gym in association with Assam Body Builders and Fitness Association. The general secretary of the Assam Body Builders and Fitness Association Bhabajyoti Goswami today informed the media that several top performers of the country will take part in this prestigious championship which carries prize money of Rs 5 lakh. The champion will receive cash award of Rs 1,25,000. Meanwhile Goswami today also added that they were facing acute fund crisis as the response from the sponsor is not so good this time. “ The meet will be held on Friday and we just maged to collect half of the entire prize money. Although few organizations assured us to provide fincial assistance and we are eagerly waiting for it." Goswami today also released the state team for the championship. The squad: A Bobby Singh, Dilip Deuri, Abhijit Das, Kuldip Dutta and Robi Meitei.
