Mrs Ri-Bhoi contest’s date changed

SHILLONG, Dec 20: The Women Organization, Ri-Bhoi district (WORD) has decided to postpone the 1st Mrs. Ri-Bhoi 2016 schedule to be held on December 30, 2016 for uvoidable reason and time constrain. The leaders of WORD have now decided to hold the event on January 28 at the football field at Umsning at 4 pm.  WORD has further urged interested candidate who want to take part in the event to come forward from all around Ri-Bhoi district and take part in the event and show the world their talent and beauty and at the same time to create awareness against violence against women and to win over all the hardships faced by them. “This will also be a platform for all the women folks to come together in unity and get a chance to know each other better for the betterment of the society and state as a whole,” J.J Kylla President, WORD said in a statement.
