Multi-specialty medical and awareness camp held

KOKRAJHAR, Feb 13:  The troops of Kokrajhar based army unit of the Red Horns Division along with the Kokrajhar district administration organized a massive multi-specialty medical and awareness camp on Saturday at Saralpara area of Ultapani near Indo-Bhutan border and conducted a medical check-up to include TB detection, malaria detection, dental check up as well as distribution of medicines to the patients.

Election awareness campaign was also conducted by the district administration followed by distribution of furniture, school bags and stationery to the students of Uttar Saralpara LP School.

The function was iugurated by the Deputy Commissioner of Kokrajhar, MP Sharma who attended the camp as chief guest. The day-long programme was also attended by around 640 patients.
