Murli crowns Saraighat title

GUWAHATI, March 9: Murli Kumar of Indian vy crowned the prestigious Mr Saraighat RG Baruah Body Building title. The event was held at the ITA Centre, Machkhowa last night. Several top body builders of the country took part in the championship. Murli Kumar, who lifted the title in presence of huge crowd, also collected cash award of Rs one lakh. All top ten position holders of the event awarded cash prizes and among them there was only one from Assam- A Bobby Singh. Bobby bagged third position in the championship. Top 10 position holders of the meet: Murli Kumar (1st, Indian vy), Vipin Peter (2nd, Indian vy), A Bobby Singh (3rd, Assam), M Serbo Singh (Railway), Vijay Bahadur (Railway), Rahul Bhist (Railway), Mahendra Chavan (Maharastra), Deepak Tripathi (Maharastra), Vikram singh (Harya) and Javed Ali khan (Uttar Pradesh). Earlier, the event was iugurated by Sarbanda Sonowal.
