From a Correspondent
MARGHERITA, Dec 1: All Assam Muslim Yuba Parishad (Socialist) Central Committee vice-president Moinur Haque Talukdar has criticized the Prime Minister rendra Modi-led BJP government at the Centre for not being able to control the growing intolerance in the country. Moinur Haque Talukdar said that after one-and-half years in power, the Modi government had not been able to bring in any development. “Few days ago Bollywood superstars Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan were targeted by the so-called Hindu fascist organizations which I strongly condemn,” said Talukdar. “Beef ban, love jihad, ghar wapsi, criticizing Islam and other religions are signs of growing intolerance. India is a country where people of many religions have been living peacefully since ages. But the Hindu fascist organizations want to disrupt this peace and harmony. India is a secular country and nobody can make it is a Hindu rashtra,” he further said. “Assam is the land of Srimanta Sankardev and Azaan Pir Fakir and we warn the Hindu fascist organizations to refrain from indulging in dirty politics,” said Talukdar.
