Muttuck youth body slams Congress, BJP over ST status

Dibrugarh, Jan 27:  Coming down heavily on the BJP and Congress, for the ‘political game’ which they have been playing for granting Scheduled Tribe status to the Muttock community, the District Unit of Sadou Asom Muttuck Yuba- Chatra Sanmilan, has expressed their deep resentment and stated that the center as well as the state government play politics before every election. The president and general secretary of the district unit, Prashanta Chetia and Nirupam Duara respectively, in a press communiqué, have cautioned both the ruling parties, at the Centre and the State, that the demand of the six indigenous communities of the State, of granting them S Tstatus, should not be played with sty politics this year too, like the previous Assembly elections. They also cautioned both the political parties    that they would not allow any political leaders of BJP and Congress to enter in the areas, largely domited Mottock people.
