MVAC sticks to gun, demands Khandu's resigtion

 FROM A CORRESPONDENT

ITAGAR, March 3: The Mere Vichaar Andholan Committee (MVAC) has reiterated its four-point demands including re-investigation into the Kalikho Pul suicide case, immediate resigtion of Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Deputy Chief Minister Chow Mein and Parliamentary Secretary (Tourism) Pasang Dorjee So, refund of the money (Rs 4 crore) which So allegedly took from late Pul and investigation against Hayuliang MLA and third wife of Pul, Dasanglu Pul's role in his alleged suicide.
The demand for investigation against the MLA came after she alleged MVAC of collecting dotions for their movement and of having affiliation with some political party in a press conference last year. In a statement here, the MVAC alleged that the handing over of 60-page suicide note and fraud case related to PDS to Ministry of Home Affairs, hydropower scam, Tawang firing incident, misappropriation of centrally funded schemes etc by the State Government is nothing but mere desperate attempt to fool the public. The Committee also reiterated that the Hayuliang MLA should tender public apology in writing to MVAC for her "baseless and unfounded" allegation against it. It also demanded her to step down from the post of MLA on moral ground.
