Mysterious Death! of youth leads to Uproar in Tezpur, Police Investigations on

Tezpur: In a shocking incident, a youth was found dead in the middle of Tezpur town near Puroni Ban Theatre at around 10 pm on Monday evening.

As per sources, the youth identified as Hasni Muddasir son of Kazi Rahman was on his way to home along with his friend Amrit Mondol in a Swift Dezire car bearing registration number AS 12T 7333 when some unidentified miscreants had allegedly attacked him with a sharp weapon.

It is to be noted that Hasni' friend Amrit Mondol had immediately brought him to Tezpur Kanaklata Civil Hospital.

On the other hand, local people in the region claimed it to be a planned murder and further alleged that Hasni's friend Amrit Mondol along with two other miscreants had killed him with evil intentions.

"We suspect that Amrit is involved in the murder case, if he is not involved then how come he left uninjured during the incident, we want appropriate investigations in connection to the matter," said one of the local people.

Meanwhile, Tezpur Police, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Numal Mahato informed that the deceased youth was an official at District Transport Office (DTO).

"He was on his way back to home when some miscreants had attacked him with a sharp weapon. We are yet to identify the culprits, but we are hopeful that we will manage to crack the case soon. A case has been registered in connection to the matter," said ASP Mahato.
