Mysterious deaths: Ke seeks report

Itagar, Nov 12: Taking cognizance of the reported cases of mysterious deaths at Khasa village in Londgding district of Aruhal Pradesh, an emergency meeting was convened on Friday by Health Minister Jomde Ke in his office chamber here in which Education Minister Honchun Ngandam, Director Health Services (DHS) Dr Moji Jini and State Epidemiologist Dr Lobsang Lampa participated.

Ke while expressing serious concern on the reported deaths, asked the DHS for a thorough investigation on the report to which Dr Jini instructed the Longding DMO in-charge to rush a medical team to Khasa village immediately with sufficient medicines and also to investigate the cases. The DHS further instructed the DMO in-charge to submit report of the investigation by Sunday afternoon so that further interventions could be taken, an official communiqué informed.
