Mystery shrouds CRPF jawan's death in Bihar

GAURISAGAR, April 13: Sensation prevailed in the Jhanji Phulpanichiga area following the mysterious death of Arb Borgohain (Munukon), a CRPF jawan who was serving as Physical Training Instructor in the Recruitment Training Centre, Rajgiri, Bihar.

According to sources, Borgohain along with three CRPF jawans were on their way home to celebrate Rongali Bihu. They had boarded a train on Saturday night. The body of Borgohain was recovered near the railway tracks about 100 km from Bihar. Local people immediately informed Railway Police. Later, Railway Police found his identity card and informed the CRPF authority. The CRPF authority confirmed the death of Borgohain and informed his family. The mobile phones of his fellow jawans are switched off.

Borgohain was the son of Sajeeb Borgohain, a resident of Phulpanichiga Gorakush village under Gaurisagar Police Station in Sivasagar district and he joined CRPF in 2010. His body will reach his home on Monday night. The news of his demise has cast a pall of gloom in the Jhanji Phulpanchiga area. Various organizations like Phulpanichiga Anchalik Rass Utsav Kala Krishti Kendra, Phulpanichiga Anchalik Puthibhoral Aru Yuva Kendra, Jhanji Press Club, Jhanji HS School, Phulpanichiga ME School and Phulpanichiga Anchalik Bahumukhi Mahila Samiti have condoled the death of Borgohain.
