National De-Worming Day Observed in Silchar

Silchar: National De-worming Day will be observed in Silchar on Monday. Children of age group from one year to 19 years will be given Albandzole tablets. The school going children will get the tablets at their respective schools. Boys and girls who are out of schools will be given these tablets at Anganwadi centres. This decision was taken at a meeting held on Saturday which was attended by Rajib Roy, ADC (Health), Dr Sudip Jyoti Das, joint director of health services, Dr Ashutosh Barman, superintendent, S M Dev Civil Hospital, Dr Reema Patao, medical officer, Urban Family Welfare Unit and Suman Choudhury, district media expert, National Health Mission.
