National Technology Day

JORHAT, May 8: CSIR-NEIST will be celebrating National Technology Day 2018 along with the rest of the country on May 11 with a day-long programme at its Jorhat campus, informed I. Ilika Zhimo, scientist-cum-PRO of CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat on Monday. Ilika Zhimo further informed that a special function would be held at the Dr JN Barua auditorium which would be presided over by Dr D Ramaiah, Director of CSIR-NEIST, while Dr R Ramaraj, Emeritus Scientist (former Professor and Head), Department of Chemistry, Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai would grace the occasion as chief guest and deliver the Technology Day lecture. SK Barua, Managing Director, Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL), Assam will be present as guest of honour. As a part of the celebration, the institute will observe Open Day to facilitate the visit of students and general public.
