National Youth Day observed with flare in Arunachal

AALO: The National Youth Day (NYD) was observed befittingly by Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti and Ramakrishna Mission on January 12th Last.

The Arun Jyoti organized cultural competition with theme “Our Culture our Pride” to mark the 156th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda which is celebrated as NYD all over India.

Speaking on the day as chief guest DIPRO Gijum Tali, said that the Swami Vivekananda message of humanity, character and nation building hold relevance today and lakhs of people across India are working on his ideas all over India and the world. He also stressed to the students to follow the ideology of Swami Vivekananda till the end of life as it has benefited many till date. “Maintaining brotherhood, loving family, dedication in the study will one day let you all at least take to an extend where he (Swami Vivekananda) was,” he added.

Thousand of school students led by monks and teachers from R.K. Mission took out a big procession flagged off by Superintendent of Police, Jummar Basar from the residence of centurion Boken Ete, the founder of the school. The precisionists thronged the Aalo streets with band parties, banners, Posters shouting slogans of Swami Vivekananda.
