NCC Additional Director General Major Gen Bipin Bakshi meets Governor of Assam Jagdish Mukhi

GUWAHATI: Major Gen Bipin Bakshi, VSM, Additional Director General, NCC Directorate, North Eastern Region, Shillong met the Governor of Assam Jagdish Mukhi on May 17, 2019. The ADG discussed various aspects related to the administration and functioning of the NCC units in the State of Assam. The Governor was also briefed regarding the participation of cadets of Assam State in various national level camps including the most coveted Republic Day Camp held at New Delhi.

The Governor conveyed his satisfaction with the progress of NCC activities in Assam and asked the ADG to ensure that the footprint of NCC reaches the remotest village of Assam. He also appreciated and mentioned that NCC activities are assisting in integrating Youth of Assam, with that of the country.
