NCC cadets shine in tiol Integration Camp

Biswath Chariali, Oct 8: Around 16 cadets of 5 Assam Battalion NCC, Tezpur were short listed to attend the tiol Integration Camp held in Mumbai from September 25 to October 6.

They were chosen to represent North East Region Directorate, tiol Cadet Corps (NCC) based in Shillong. These 16 cadets included 10 Senior Division boy and six Senior Wing girl cadets from various colleges of Assam like Biswath College, Madhabdev College, Darrang College, Chaiduar College and Mangaldai College.

The tiol integration Camp showcased various events wherein various competitions were held among the NCC cadets coming from all over India. The cadets representing North East Region Directorate participated and won the all India  cultural group dance competitions and the IP competition with first position, respectively, held at the tiol Integration Camp, Mumbai. The choreography for the cultural dance was done by Rimpi Borthakur from Dhemaji.
