NCC training camp at Dibrugarh

DIBRUGARH, Dec16: More than 400 cadets, associate NCC officers (ANO) and physical instructors (PI) staffs are participating in the NCC Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) camp being organized by 46th Assam Medical Company at DHSK Kanoi College from December 12 to 19 here.  

The NCC camp is being conducted under the Camp Commandment Lt Col Akshay Goel, Deputy Commandant Lt Col Alok Kumar and Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) Subedar Sher Ali.

All through the camp, training will be given to the cadets for making them self dependent, disciplined and informed about the defense forces.  The camp further aims to motivate the cadets to join the Indian Defense Forces and to make them productive and better citizens of the country.

In the ongoing NCC camp, training on weapons, field crafts, battle craft, civil defense, and various other cultural activities including persolity development is being provided to the NCC cadets coming from Aruchal Pradesh, Colleges and Schools of the District and Dibrugarh University (DU).

The partaking NCC cadets also attended the Captain Jintu Gogoi Football tourment and are also scheduled to attend a rally on Swachchta Abhiyan to be organized by the District Administration. Moreover, the cadets are getting ready to take part in the Prime Minister’s Rally proposed to be held at New Delhi on January 28. A cultural function will be held on December 19.
