NCHAC rubbishes media report

HAFLONG, Sept 13: The Executive Members of the North Cachar Hills Autonomous council (NCHAC) has dismissed the media report that AGP-BJP will form the council. BJP Executive Members claimed in a press conference held at the official residence of EM Niranjan Hojai that the present council will complete its tenure with Debolal Gorlosa as its CEM. EM Prakanta Warisa also claimed that the council was running smoothly and was stable and all the members were united.  “So there is no question of BJP members joining AGP,” he said. They termed all these as rumours and being spread by the opposition parties for the reasons best known to them. The press conference was attended by the Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson and all the EMs and members of the council belonging to BJP.
