HAFLONG, March 22: North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council (NCHAC) Chief Executive Member (CEM) Debojeet Thaosen assured the army authorities to extend all possible help for the ensuing army recruitment rally scheduled to be held from April 1 to April 8 at DSA Ground, Haflong. Sri Thaosen presided over the meeting held in the CEM's Conference Hall on March 10 last in connection with the Indian Army recruitment rally to be held at Haflong. Initiating the discussion Brigd. I. M. Lamba , Dy. Director General, ARO stated that army recruitment rally is an important event for both the civil and army authorities which provides an excellent opportunity of employment to the youth of the district as well as State. He also sought supports from the civil authorities for the smooth and successful conduct of the rally. The meeting was also attended by NCHAC Principal Secretary Ramesh Thaosen, EAC Rajiv Das representing the Deputy Commissioner, Addl. S.P. A. Chowdhury, EX-Engineer, PWD (Bld) B. L. Dutta, Ex-Engineer, PHE Haflong Div L. Ali., Jt. Director of Health Services Dr. N. Rema Lalsim, and representatives of DHSA, Haflong amongst others.
