NDFB (S) cadre bbed in Chirang

Bongaigaon, June 8: Based on specific input, Chirang police and Indian Army had launched an operation on Wednesday in Amteka area under Amguri PS of Chirang district. An army official said that this operation resulted in apprehension of one NDFB(S) cadre, identified as Sabian Mochahary alias Adam (27), son of Soren Mochahary, a resident of Sopur village under Amguri PS. “One hand grede was recovered with him. This cadre fled away to Bangalore last year due to ongoing intensive CI operations. He was a close associate of slain hardcore cadres Ringsur Basumatary, Gundai, Jwnthwi and others,” the official said.
