NDFB(S) rebel bbed

Dimakuchi, Jan 18: In a major achievement, Borengajuli based XIV Dogra Regiment under Red Horn Division apprehended one NDFB-S rebel in Chiko-Khoirabari route under Khoirabari PS of Udalguri. Acting on a tip-off, the XIV Dogra Regiment jawans apprehended the hardcore rebel, identified as Mukta Bora (30), son of Chindi Ram Boro, while he was returning from Chiko to Khoirabari with a mission of extortion. Army personnel seized a 7. 65 mm pistol, a magazine and four rounds of live ammunition from his possession. He has been taken into custody and further investigations are on, said army sources.
