GUWAHATI, March 27: 3rd North East Karate championship will kick off at the Deshbhakta Tarun Ram Phukan Indoor stadium tomorrow. The two days event will be held in four different categories-sub junior, cadet, junior and senior. Addressing a media conference Bharat rah, the president of the United Karate Do Association of Assam (UKAA), said that around 320 players from the different parts of the North East will take part in the championship. The iugural function will be held tomorrow afternoon and it will be attended by Ajit Singh, the Sports and Youth Welfare Minister, as a chief guest.
