NE Media Sports Festival conclude

GUWAHATI, Dec 30: The VII North East Media Sports Festival came to an end at the SAI sports complex here today. Altogether four events were held in the 9-day championship where players from Meghalaya and Manipur also took part. Earlier Ga Adhikar lifted the Harendra th Baruah Inter Media Soccer Championship title defeating The Shillong Press club by 7-6 via tie break today. The schedule time of the game ended as goalless draw. Arnold Lanong of The Shillong Press Club adjudged the best player of the tourment. Award ceremony of all four events was held today in the closing function which was attended by several dignitaries. Binoy Kalita of DY365 received the best player award in the cricket event.
