Nedan Foundation observes World Day against Child Labour

KOKRAJHAR, June 15: NEDAN Foundation, an NGO based in Kokrajhar, observed the World Day against Child Labour recently in collaboration with UNICEF, Assam and Childline, Kokrajhar. The day was observed to create awareness among the people of Kokrajhar district to save the future of the children. The NGO took the initiative to observe the World Day against Child Labour with a car rally to stop child labour, along with the support of Kokrajhar police. The car rally started from Kokrajhar Police Station through Mwiderkhoro Road and then went to RN Brahma Civil Hospital road to DC office road connecting Kokrajhar Science College through Don Bosco HS School, Aai Hotel and Gwjwnpuri road to Tengapara and ended at the NEDAN secretariat office.
