“A meeting has been slated to filize this on April 4 and the new rule will be officially declared within a week,” the NEHUTA on Wednesday informed.

Meanwhile, on the demand for exempting pre-2009 Ph.D holders of NET qualification the Ministry has accepted the exemption of applicants as a necessary prerequisite for their entry in the teaching service. The NEHUTA said that the official notification in this regard will also be issued soon.

Moreover, the association was also informed that on the Seventh Pay Commission & UGC Pay Review Committee, the recommendations have been sent to the Fince Ministry.
