New building of Hojai Public School iugurated

Hojai, January 28:  The new building of Hojai Public School was iugurated and on this occasion a function was held at ndapur village under Milick Basti panchayat of Hojai.

In the iugural ceremony, Dhadev Mahant, chairman of Board of Secondary Education of Assam was as the chief guest. Superintendent of Police of Hojai, Konkon Gyoti Saikia, Bhim Batta, Principal of Hojai College, Joy Kumar Singha  Associate Professor of ADP College gaon and Deba Prasad Chauhan, retired teacher of Dakhin Hojai School were felicitated with Manipuri gamosa.

The ceremony included dancing and singing by local groups and a performance of the school students. Local dignitaries, including the representative of Deshbandu High School,   the village chief, and local leaders were present at the function.
