New Cachar SP felicitated

SILCHAR, Nov 5: Youth Against Social Evils (YASE) formally welcomed Rakesh Roshan, the new Superintendent of Police, Cachar on Friday. Members of YASE gave him a welcome certificate and wished him best of wishes in his endeavour in eradicating evils from the society. It should be mentioned here that during SP Rajveer Singh’s term, the residents of this town had seen two consecutive Durga Pujas without untoward incident. Women also took part in the procession of idol immersion which reflects how safe they felt under his law and order. The residents are hopeful that SP Rakesh Roshan would also deliver the same.
